Despite having reprised the role of Superman in Black Adam's post-credit scene, Cavill's time as the Man of Steel is coming to an end after what seemed like a fresh beginning.

J.J. Abrams and Ta-Nehisi Coates' Black Superman reboot, which will take place outside the main DCU continuity, is reportedly still moving forward despite Gunn's new project.
