Arizona border patrol agents have arrested two U.S. citizens for smuggling Mexican immigrants into the United States along with fentanyl, meth, and a loaded firearm.
The DEA seized 32,000 fake pills made to look like legitimate prescription pills on July 8th and 9th in Omaha, Nebraska.
The United States Border Patrol did not immediately respond to a request for comment from Fox News Digital. The arrests come as the fentanyl crisis at the southern border continues to spiral out of control and Drug Enforcement Agency Administrator Anne Milgram recentlyA combined total of around 250 pounds of pills that tested positive for fentanyl was found in the vehicle.
