A TikToker is denouncing Disney’s original princesses for sharing a similar trait: a tiny button nose.
The clip argued that the heroines were given perfect facial features, while noses deemed as imperfect or unsightly were attributed to the wicked., which scored 5.3 million views since it was posted last month.Multiple creators have argued that animators have sketched the cartoons that way on purpose.The creator claimed that some of the earliest princesses barely had a nose at all, at least when the animated beauties were viewed head-on.
Studies have shown the effects of Disney characters on young minds, arguing that these popular animations may perpetuate unrealistic standards.In the comments section on TikTok, users were in disagreement over whether children really noticed characters’ noses.“So are we gonna cry about every single thing in life or just carry on,” griped one viewer in response to Robin’s clip.”Its bc villians [sic] often have sharp facial structure to appear cold and sharp.

DeSantis board approves suing Disney in latest tug-of-warDays after Disney sued Florida’s governor in federal court for what it described as retaliation for opposing the state’s so-called “Don’t Say Gay” bill, members of Disney World’s governing board made up of Gov. Ron DeSantis appointees have authorized a lawsuit against the entertainment giant.
