Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania has unveiled a batch of character posters as part of its promotional lead-up to release, and Bill Murray's character, Lord Krylar, gets one of his own. This will be the veteran actor's first appearance in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, starring alongside a host of other big names including Paul Rudd, Evangeline Lilly, Michelle Pfeiffer, Michael Douglas, Kathryn Newton, and Jonathan Majors.

The latest is a series of character posters for the major players, Murray's Lord Krylar included. The use of such an obscure Marvel Comics character, especially one unrelated to Ant-Man, is an interesting choice for the Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania creatives to make. However, the fact that they have cast such a big name as Murray to portray him only points to his "crucial role," as has been noted by director Peyton Reed.
Reed also notes Lord Krylar as a figure of Janet Van Dyne's past, meaning he could link to Kang in some way given that Janet also seems to have history with the MCU's new big bad. Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania is set to delve deep into Janet's role as a "freedom fighter" when stuck in the Quantum Realm, and this will surely unearth her past actions.
