Satira King, 26, of Amherst, died Tuesday of her injuries at MetroHealth Medical Center, according to the Lorain post of the State Highway Patrol.
HENRIETTA TOWNSHIP, Ohio — A 26-year-old woman who was a passenger on a motorcycle was killed early Monday morning in Lorain County when the bike overturned on a curve in a crash in which investigators believe impairment might have played a role.
Satira King of Amherst was flown by helicopter to MetroHealth Medical Center in Cleveland after the crash on Gore Orphanage Road, the State Highway Patrol reports. King died of her injuries on Tuesday. The patrol says a 2012 Harley Davidson FLHX motorcycle driven by a 32-year-old Wakeman man was going west on Gore Orphanage Road just before 3 a.m. when the driver failed to negotiate a curve, causing the bike to overturn.
