The iconic singing competition turns 20 this year.
We have whittled the pool of legendary performers down to 64 contenders to find the best of the best to celebrate the reality TV singing competition’s two decades on air, and yes we included: Cadence Baker, Tristen Gressett, Kezia “Lady K” Istonia and Tyler N. Allen.
But we need your help. You can fill out a bracket for fun, or you can vote in our polls starting right now so you have a say in the all-time American Idol. Who’s the best of all time? Carrie Underwood? Jennifer Hudson? The first-ever winner Kelly Clarkson? One of the Alabama champs, Ruben Studdard or Taylor Hicks?
We’ve even seeded the singers! Vote in the polls below reflecting our first-round match-ups, and then look for the results and second round polls on Monday. Then we will share results after two days for the subsequent rounds until we name the champion.
