A Star Wars Twi’lek cosplay sees a rebel ready to face the Empire. The Twi’leks, which debuted in Return of the Jedi through the characters in Jabba’s palace, are among the most recognizable Star Wars alien races. After the original trilogy, Star Wars continued to reveal more about the Twi’leks until Star Wars: The Clone Wars properly fleshed out their lore. Clone Wars visited Ryloth, the Twi’leks’ homeworld, setting up a storyline about how Twi’leks will never give up their planet.
One of the Twi’lek cosplay pictures highlights this character’s flying goggles, which are similar to what Star Wars Rebels’ Hera Syndulla uses. While Hera is a relatively new Star Wars character, her story brought the Clone Wars timeline and the original trilogy’s setting together, especially in Rebels season 3’s Ryloth arc.
