Speaking for his new teammates, he said that everyone would like the deal to get done, but there’s no major reason for urgency just quite yet.“I know I was last week, before I had all my stuff going down and everything, but the beauty is we don’t play a game until September. “We haven’t even started OTAs yet, so there’s really no rush to get this done or anything. I know that once it goes through and we’re able to get in the classroom together and on the field together we’re going to start cooking up something special.”In addition to Rodgers, Lazard cited Jets offensive coordinator Nathaniel Hackett as a major reason why he wanted to join the team.
