Alan Arkin, the iconic Oscar and Tony-winning performer from projects including Little Miss Sunshine, Glengarry Glen Ross, and Argo, dies at 89.
Alan Arkin has passed away at the age of 89. The legendary actor was born in New York City on March 26, 1934 and began studying acting at age 10. He went on to a career of more than 100 television and movie titles as well as a series of theatrical roles. He won a Tony in 1963 for his performance in Enter Laughing followed by an Academy Award for the 2006 comedy Little Miss Sunshine.
