If you tried but didn't win a slot in Alabama's liquor sweepstakes in October, don't fret. You still can participate in the annual release of high-demand, limited quantity liquors. Here's how. ⬇
The Alabama Alcoholic Beverage Control Board will hold its annual release of high-demand, limited quantity liquors Saturday morning at eight ABC stores across the state.to determine the first 100 slots in line at each of the stores. Customers who did not win a slot can still participate in Saturday’s release by registering to be in the walk-up groups that will enter the stores after the sweepstakes winners. Time slots are allocated for 100 walk-ups.
Participants must be Alabama residents and at least 21. They need an Alabama driver’s license, state issued ID, or military photo ID with proof of residency. Here is aMountain Brook, 201 Rele Street.Auburn, 1199 South Donahue Drive.Registration begins at 8 a.m. Saturday. The first group of sweepstakes winners will enter the store at 9. a.m.The liquors will be in four categories, tables 1 through 4, with table 1 being the most limited availability.
