Mission: Impossible - Dead Reckoning Part One star Hayley Atwell gave new insight in a recent interview on how a crossover with her Marvel character Agent Carter would play out. The seventh installment in the action-packed espionage franchise released this week to incredibly positive critical reception, including praise for Atwell's new character Grace.
In an interview with Screen Rant, Hayley Atwell discussed her character Grace, who becomes a sort of partner for Ethan Hunt in the new film. Atwell compared Grace to her longtime role of Agent Carter, analyzing how the two would potentially react to one another. What mess have I gotta get her out of?" And I think as someone who is more spontaneous, less controlled than Peggy, [they're] opposite sides of the same coin.
But I think Peggy knows what her value is and she knows her value system; Grace isn't quite sure. And I think that Peggy would probably be a good mentor to her.
