OAKLAND — An affordable housing development with more than 100 residences could sprout at a parking lot in downtown Oakland, city documents show.
Oakland Affordable Housing Group has proposed the residential development, which would be located at 315 15th Street in Oakland, according to a preliminary filing with city planners. The eight-story apartment project is being eyed at a surface parking lot on 15th Street between Webster Street and Harrison Street, the proposal shows.Oakland Affordable Housing Group bought the proposed development site in 2016, paying $8 million for the property, according to documents on file with the Alameda County Recorder’s Office.Downtown Oakland parking lot at 315 15th Street, located between Harrison Street and Webster Street.
