Husband feels like his “voice is being stolen,” but wife dismisses his complaints and keeps finishing his sentences.
She will predict the end of a movie out loud — with surprising accuracy — after only 15 minutes of watching, a habit she picked up from her family. It doesn’t really bother me, but what does is when she predicts the last few words of my sentences.
Am I the problem? Should I just let it go and accept that I’m not going to finish my sentences for the rest of my life? It seems kind of petty, but I feel like my voice is being stolen from me.It is being stolen — that’s an absolutely valid, not at all “petty” complaint.
