The hit series was renewed for another season following a major sweep at the Golden Globes.
The pickup news comes after the mockumentary won Best Comedy Series at the 2023 Golden Globes, as well as took home individual wins for its star and creator,"This renewal is a richly deserved feather in the cap of Quinta Brunson, Justin Halpern, Patrick Schumacker and Randall Einhorn, as well as the rest of the cast and crew of 'Abbott Elementary,'" Warner Bros. chairman and CEO Channing Dungey said about the upcoming season, per.
The show, which follows the professional and personal lives of the staff of an underfunded Philadelphia elementary school, has won the hearts of viewers since its 2021 premiere.
