Woman found dead hours after reported kidnapping in Pasadena
A woman's body was found in an abandoned car at a TXDOT storage lot on Cedar Crest on Monday, Oct. 3, 2022. The woman is believed to have been the victim of a reported kidnapping in Pasadena, police saidwas found dead in a Texas Department of Transportation storage lotThe woman was found shot to death inside a car at a lot used to store concrete barriers in the the 5200 block of Cedar Crest, according to the Pasadena Police Department.
While the woman's body was found in Houston, her death is being investigated by Pasadena police because she was the victim of a reported kidnapping earlier in the day, Pasadena Police Department Officer Jessica Ramirez said. At about 9:51 a.m,, a witness called police to report a woman being forced into a car at an apartment complex in 3800 block of Red Bluff, Ramirez said.
A spokesman for the Texas Department of Transportation confirmed the agency owned the lot, but didn't have any information about the police investigation.
