Officials with the McKamey Animal Shelter in Chattanooga, Tennessee, say they would like to reunite the dog with its owner and provide help.

CHATTANOOGA, Tennessee — An animal shelter is hoping to reunite a dog with its family after the dog was found abandoned with a note attached saying the owner was no longer able to afford to care for her.
“Please love me. My mom can’t keep me and is homeless with two kids,” the note says. “She tried her best but can’t get help. I cost too much for her. “We will help you with whatever you need to care for her, to the best of our ability,” the post says. “Lilo definitely misses you, and we would like nothing more than to see her go back to the family she loves.”
