Despite a Poptopic report that swirled to the delight of Depp fans Monday, Depp is apparently not in talks with Disney to reprise his role as Captain Jack Sparrow.A spokesperson for Depp denied reports that the actor is working out a $301 million deal to appear in a sixth"Pirates" film, according to Fox News Digital.
"What I can tell you is that the studio has already penned up a draft for a film about Jack Sparrow so they are very hopeful that Johnny will forgive them and return as his iconic character," according to the Poptopic source.The Washington Examiner has reached out to Disney for comment but has not received a response.
