It’s the holy grail of Disney experiences.
So, for me, it was an easy decision to plunk down $160. If that kind of history doesn’t appeal to you, you might not feel the same way.

This is where I learned my first big secret of the day: There are actually two of Walt’s lamps on Main Street. The second is in Emile Kuri’s window, which is above the Starbucks. Kuri was a set designer for Disney movies like “20,000 Leagues Under the Sea,” until Walt tapped him to design interiors in the park, including the decor of his apartment.
I had seen historical images before, mostly of Walt and his wife Lillian entertaining family there, especially their 10 grandkids. But the photos only showed glimpses of what was inside the 500-square-foot space. It’s largely one room, which looks like a turn-of-the-century Victorian parlor.
