A jury in April convicted Lindell King, 53 and Ynedra Diggs, 45, of conspiracy to defraud the United States and to pay and receive health care kickbacks, and multiple substantive violations of the Anti-Kickback Statute, according to the justice department.Gunman in Spring Branch Thanksgiving shooting targeted ex-girlfriend, new boyfriend, records show

Before their arrest, Diggs and King owned group homes that housed Medicare beneficiaries, according to the department. They were accused of referring to their residents to Behavioral Medicine of Houston, a community health center.
