San Antonio police have arrested a 32-year-old man they say walked into a Medical Center-area gym on Monday night and fatally shot another man who was working out.

Jessie MacWilliams, 32, was charged with murder in connection with a deadly shooting at a San Antonio LA Fitness on Aug. 1, 2022.A 32-year-old man walked into a Medical Center-area gym on Monday night and shot and killed another man who was working out, according to San Antonio police.

Police don't know what led to the shooting at LA Fitness located in the 7100 block of Blanco Road but have arrested Jessie Marqui MacWilliams on suspicion of murder.'I want my kids back': The bodies of three sisters were found in an East Texas pondWitnesses told police that MacWilliams walked behind the man working out and fired a single shot at him. The man died at the scene from a single gunshot wound, police said.

MacWilliams attempted to flee the scene but didn't make it far before he was detained by police, officials said.
