S.A. kitten rescued in 2020 with ears, tail cut off is thriving in new home
You wrote that the kitten was found behind a car dealership with his ears and tail missing:"It appears that someone purposely cut them off before he was rescued and taken to ."
I was shocked, horrified and heartbroken to read it. I burst into tears and became so angry at the heartless monster who had so cruelly maimed him. The kitten was very tenderly taken care of and nursed to health, but the post ended with:"If you are interested in adopting Gunner, please visit SAhumane.org/cats today." There was no indication anywhere if he was adopted. I hope so.That poor baby deserves so much tender, loving care.
They already had two older cats, two outside feral cats and another cat they had adopted as a kitten from SAHS a year earlier. This most recent cat they named Loki, after a character in the Thor movie franchise. So they felt it fitting to rename Gunner with a similar movie moniker.Thor, right, and Loki are inseparable."They groom each other, play together, and chase each other around the house," she said.
