The 49ers signed a quartet of players to one-year deals and retained quarterback Nate Sudfeld ahead of next week’s free agency.
The 49ers are hammering out contract extensions before free agency opens next week, but none of the deals are yet to include their dynamic duo of Nick Bosa and Deebo Samuel.
Also, Nate Sudfeld was signed to a reserve/future contract after spending most of last season on the practice squad, as the No. 3 quarterback behind Jimmy Garoppolo and Trey Lance, the former of whom remains on the trade block after shoulder surgery Tuesday.
