An Adamsville woman is charged with murder in the shooting and is being held on a $1.5 million bond.
Authorities have released the name of a woman shot to death in an Adamsville business over the weekend.
The Jefferson County Coroner’s Office identified the victim as Wendy Johnson Patellaro. She was 46 and lived in Birmingham.on a report of a shooting inside the business, said Adamsville police Assistant Chief Chris Robinson. That location is an auto repair shop. Robinson said police and Adamsville fire medics arrived to find Patellaro unresponsive. She was pronounced dead at 9:44 a.m.Amy Stocks, 44, of Adamsville, has been charged with murder in the woman’s shooting death. She was booked into the Jefferson County Jail at 1:55 p.m. Monday and remains held on $1.5 million bond.Authorities have not released a motive in the slaying, nor disclosed the victim’s ties to the business where the deadly shooting took place.
