Here are three elevated experiences to try in Denver to learn more about cannabis and its culture.

If you’ve ever wondered how your favorite strain of bud or concentrate is cultivated and processed,cannabis company pulls back the curtain on its process during tours of its facility in north Denver. The experience, which is much like a brewery tour, includes seeing plants in various stages of growing; observing staff as they harvest and extract marijuana; and even holding a pound of fresh flower.

Tours are Thursdays and Fridays at noon and 6 p.m., and Saturdays and Sundays at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. at Seed & Smith, 5070 Oakland St. in Denver. Register atJimmy Smrz sits quietly during a minute of silence at exactly 4:20pm in the sanctuary of the new International Church of Cannabis during its grand opening on April, 20, 2017.The murals inside the International Church of Cannabis were painted by Okuda San Miguel.
