Alabama State Troopers and the Jefferson County Coroner’s Office identified the fatality victim as James B. Myers II.
Authorities said Myers was driving a Toyota Tacoma that left I-459 near Interstate 20 at 7:12 p.m. Saturday and went into the woods. That location is about one mile east of Irondale.The crash was not discovered until Sunday.
