Legal battle continues over use of Title 42 along the border
The deadly shooting was reported at 11:47 a.m. Friday at an apartment complex, located in the 8500 block of Point Park.According to investigators, the man fired one shot, killing the woman.The suspect immediately fled from the scene, according to law enforcement.
Hours later, a SWAT team responded to an apartment complex at 21919 Clay Road where they were able to make contact with the suspect over the phone, however, he quickly changed locations. Officers say they were eventually able to find him in east Harris County in the 400 block of Independence Parkway and take him into custody.
