In news that’s bound to please those hoping North America will be able to move away from fossil fuels, Snow Lake Lithium has announced that its site in Manitoba, Canada, can provide enough raw materials for the creation of 5 million new EVs. Locally sourcing such raw materials will be a big boost for U.S. car manufacturers, especially as pressure to ditch materials sourced from China increases.

That’s enough for a top speed of 174 mph and a 0–62 mph time of 3.4 seconds.
