For the first time in league history, the NFL will play three back-to-back games on Christmas Day, with the Bucs, Rams and Dolphins headlining the action
As the holiday draws closer, NFL fans everywhere can start planning their Christmas Day sports-watching schedule.NFL fans will have three exciting matchups to sit back and watch on Christmas Day, compared to the usual two that are played on the holiday each year. The games fall into Week 16 of the 2022 regular season, and the rest of the NFL games during that week will be split between Saturday and Thursday .
Last year’s two Christmas games saw the Packers beat the Browns in a narrow matchup, 24–22, while the Colts topped the Cardinals, 22–16. This year, the Packers return to the Christmas Day slate as one of four 2021 playoff teams on the schedule, including the eventual Super Bowl champions from last year and the 2020 champs.
