Two plead guilty to burglarizing British Consul General's home, FBI says

A man and a woman pleaded guilty to damaging a foreign government’s property after security footage showed them driving a U-Haul through the gate of the Consul General of Great Britain’s private residence last year, the FBI said Wednesday.

Damages approximated $56,636, according to the FBI. Damaging a foreign government’s property is a federal felony punishable by up to five years in prison and a possible $250,000 maximum fine
