Daily News | 1 person killed in quadruple shooting in South Philly
Two man were fatally wounded in a quadruple shooting Thursday night in South Philadelphia, police said.
The shooting occurred just before 8:45 p.m. on the 1200 block of Bucknell Street, police said. The four male victims were transported by police to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center. A 36-year-old died at the hospital from numerous gunshot wounds. Another 36-year-old man also died at the hospital from multiple gunshot injuries.A 25-year-old man shot three times in the right leg was reported in stable condition.The suspects were described as at least two males who ran off, police said.
State Rep. Jordan A. Harris, whose district includes the crime scene, reacted on Twitter: “A mass shooting just happen in South Philly. Another life was taken by the hands of gun violence. This is a crisis!”
