PATERSON, New Jersey --The most recent shooting occurred around 2:39 a.m. on Jersey Street.
The two victims were transported to Saint Joseph's University Medical Center where they were subsequently pronounced dead. A fifth victim, a 19-year-old from Paterson, also arrived at the Hackensack University Medical Center for a gunshot wound.Additionally, Tuesday night two people were shot and injured on Essex and Madison Streets."This incident shows that no city in America is immune from the epidemic of gun violence gripping our nation. The willingness of individuals to carry and use firearms on our streets is deeply troubling, and an issue we must address together.
