The shooting occurred around 3:25 p.m. on a Broward County Transit bus. The bus driver heard"several gunshots" and pulled into the parking lot of the Fort Lauderdale Police Department, according to Luis Alvarez, the department's acting police chief. The driver forced the bus past another vehicle to get into the parking lot, resulting in the car crash, Alvarez said. The three people injured in the crash were treated at the scene for minor injuries.
