Jay Timmons, President and CEO of the National Association of Manufacturers, plead to the White House to stop the regulatory onslaught burdening manufacturers.

More than 100 manufacturers sent a letter to the White House asking the administration to stop the onslaught of federal regulations that have become burdensome on the industry.

Timmons told Fox News NAM has been monitoring and engaging in the regulatory process across 30 agencies. per year complying with federal regulations, and more than 17 percent exceeded 10,000 hours, according to the National Association ofThe manufacturing industry is at risk dealing with burdensome federal regulations that have cost some manufacturers thousands, the NAM president says.
