The victim was airlifted to Stony Brook University Hospital after losing a lot of blood.The building went into lockdown and a 12-year-old student was taken into police custody."I was in the hallway and then I saw my science teacher with a kid and the kid was leaving a trail of blood on the floor," said student Andy Pinargote.
Parents panicked and feared the worst when they were notified the school went into lockdown during the investigation.were shot and killed inside a private elementary school"You send your kids off to school thinking they're going to have a good day and this occurs, it's concerning as a parent," one father said.
