Galactus and the King in Black are two of the most powerful cosmic beings in Marvel Comics history, as both have the capability to traverse the entire universe with ease and destroy whole planets with the help of their minions. However, sometimes a good villain isn’t based solely on their power level alone.
8 Design While the King in Black’s design was definitely heavy metal in nature with hints of classic symbiote characteristics , Galactus’ design is timeless, as it’s a brilliant example of Jack Kirby’s retro Sci-Fi style that arguably set the standard for the entire genre. Not only that, but in-canon, Galactus’ features actually change depending on what world he goes to, and what species of alien look upon him.
