Darth Vader was well-known as one of the most terrifyingly powerful Sith Lords in both Star Wars canon and Legends, and there are only a handful of Jedi who have the potential to beat him. Despite Vader’s reputation as a notorious Jedi killer, his mechanical body hindered him from fighting as acrobatically as Anakin Skywalker did in his youth. Instead, Vader used his mastery of Form V to ensure his strikes were as powerful and deadly as possible.
9 Cere Junda Even though she was beaten and killed by Darth Vader in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, Cere Junda managed to put up more of a fight than almost any Jedi before her. Like Obi-Wan, Cere battled Vader in the hopes of distracting him, so her friends could escape. By the end of their duel, Cere left Vader burnt, limping, and wheezing, proving Vader wasn’t all-powerful.
6 Revan Although Revan was even more deadly when he utilized both the dark and light sides of the Force; as a Jedi, Revan was still powerful enough to defeat Vader. When he was Jedi knight, Revan was an expert at killing armored opponents, such as Mandalore the Great during the Mandalorian Wars of the Old Republic. He was regarded by many as the greatest Jedi warrior of his age. If Vader and Revan fought each other, Revan would likely have emerged as the victor.
