8 Nautiloid Bulbs These items found in and around the Nautiloid and its crash site are easy to dismiss and end up selling or sending them to camp and leaving them there for the duration of the game. But the Bulbs found here have a combat purpose that makes it worthwhile to hold onto them. These Bulbs can be tossed into battle like grenades and will pull enemies toward them, setting them up in the perfect position to drop an AoE spell.
5 Shovel Depending on their Perception rolls, characters love pointing out mounds of dirt they spot during their journey. These dirt mounds generally have a chest hidden in them, which could mean they have various items ready for the taking. However, getting to those chests requires a shovel, so carrying one around is good to avoid missing potentially helpful items.
3 Salami Although it's a camp supply, Salami can also be used as a weapon with 1-4 Bludgeoning Damage. Even better, Salami can be dual-wielded. There are far stronger items to use for combat in Baldur's Gate 3, but it must be insulting for enemies to be killed by somebody using Salami as a weapon. When playing on Tactician, this might not be the best use for Salami since it takes 80 Camp Supplies for a long rest instead of the required 40 Camp Supplies on Balanced and Explorer.
