9 Cyborg Superman's 'Fantastic Four' The Fantastic Four are Marvel’s First Family and their story is one that touches on the wonders of science and exploration. However, their origin was used as a jumping off point for the background of Superman’s half-machine menace, Cyborg Superman. Just like Richards’ and his family, Hank Henshaw’s crew were belted by cosmic radiation, transforming them in superhuman ways.
6 Black Spider Spider-Man’s mouth has always gotten him into trouble with Marvel’s heroes and villains. So it’s only natural that a character loosely based on the Wall-Crawler be just as glib. Black Spider was initially portrayed as an assassin that went after Gotham’s drug dealers. But a new Black Spider was introduced in Batman #518 and, like Marvel’s infamous Webhead, he wasn’t one to mince words, even with a gun in his face.
3 The Beard Hunter Marvel Comics may have received criticism for the Punisher's over-the-top violence, but DC’s parody of Frank Castle took things to a new level. In Doom Patrol #45, fans are introduced to the peculiar assassin known as the Beard Hunter. Due to an inability to grow a beard of his own, Ernest Franklin resented those with beards and killed any unfortunate beard owner who crossed his path.
