One person was killed following a violent wrong-way crash on the northbound lanes off the 110 Freeway in South Los Angeles early Friday morning.
One person was killed following a violent wrong-way crash in South Los Angeles.One person was killed following a violent wrong-way crash on the northbound lanes off the 110 Freeway inOfficials said they received multiple 911 calls from people reporting a vehicle traveling southbound on the northbound lanes around 3 a.m. A short time later, there was a head-on collision between a taxi cab and another vehicle near the Exposition Boulevard exit.
When first responders arrived, they found multiple people trapped in the wreckage. The Jaws of Life were used to free at least three people from the wreckage. The crash victims were rushed to the hospital by firefighters where one person died.A SigAlert has been issued in the area for the investigation and all northbound lanes are set to be closed until 6:30 a.m. No further information was immediately released by authorities.
