The Franklin County DUI Task Force released data from its sobriety checkpoint ahead of the Memorial Day weekend.
The Franklin County DUI Task Force set up a sobriety checkpoint ahead of the Memorial Day weekend, having checked more than 300 vehicles.
The checkpoint was set up on Westerville Road in Clinton Township, having operated between 8 p.m. Friday and 12:30 a.m. Saturday.One person was arrested for OVI, while two were arrested on drug-related charges. Another two were taken into custody on misdemeanor warrants.A total of 923 cars passed through the area during the hours the checkpoint was set up.The DUI Task Force is a program of the Franklin County Sheriff's Office.
